Sometimes, we feel let down by God. You share your plans with him. You pray for him to guide you, lead you and direct your path, but when things don’t go as you planned, you tend to get discouraged.
I know because I have been there. I have been in so many situations where I thought God wasn’t there with me. I felt like a little girl lost in the woods, all alone, but I am here today to tell you that sometimes GOD will REDIRECT you to PROTECT you. Let me say that again.
Sometimes God will REDIRECT YOU to PROTECT YOU!
I couldn’t see at the time, but he was protecting me from horrible friendships, relationships and jobs that could have, in the long run, made a horrible impact on my life.
For the bible says: This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Psalm 34:6-7
God has a way of allowing things to happen in our lives to redirect us into what it is that he has for us! Sometimes He will allow you to see that your plan isn’t better than his plan. I had to learn to lean and depend on Him. Everything that I have done before trusting Him has crumbled.
I challenge you to rethink those moments that you were redirected and see where God was truly looking out for you. Remember Jeremiah 29:11. His plans for you are always good! Behind every moment of redirection is an opportunity for a great new adventure. There is victory in the redirection! When traveling down the highway of life, His way will always lead you exactly where you need to be!
